Welcome to AVL

Josh Thrower is a licensed NC Broker / REALTOR® with REAL Brokerage, serving Asheville and Western North Carolina. He works with all types of buyers and sellers, with a particular passion for helping first-time homebuyers, relocating families, remote workers, and clients looking to put down roots in WNC. His approach to real estate is straightforward, communicative, and low-pressure, with a focus on helping clients make confident, informed decisions that make sense for their lifestyle and long-term goals.

Outside of the real estate world, Josh spends his time exploring Western North Carolina with his wife and son, embracing life as a husband and dad while creating content centered around Asheville history, businesses, and culture. When he’s not helping clients or chasing after a toddler who truly runs the household, you’ll usually find him running, hiking, discovering good music, visiting breweries, or tracking down hidden local spots around WNC.
